Arch Enemy

Arch Enemy is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Halmstad, formed in 1995 by guitarist Michael Amott and vocalist Johan Liiva, both formerly of Carnage. The band originated as a project involving musicians from several established metal acts, and its line-up has included members associated with groups such as Carcass, Armageddon, Mercyful Fate, Spiritual Beggars, The Agonist, Nevermore, Eucharist, and Once Human.
