Aborted is a death metal band originally based in Waregem, Belgium, but now the group features a lineup of members that hail across multiple countries including Belgium, Iceland, Israel and the United States Originally starting out as a brutal death metal band, the band later incorporated grindcore elements around the time their breakthrough album Goremageddon: The Saw and the Carnage Done was released, and also experimented with various other styles
