The are multiple artists with this name. 1) The Firm was an American hip hop super group that formed in New York City in 1996. It was created by rapper Nas, his manager Steve Stoute, producer Dr. Dre and production team the Trackmasters. The group, composed of East Coast rappers Nas, Foxy Brown, AZ and Cormega, was introduced via the song "Affirmative Action" on Nas' second LP "It Was Written". Due to a falling out between Nas and Cormega, the latter was replaced with Nature.
