Car Underwater is an American mall emo / post-hardcore band based in Los Angeles. They are made up of lead vocalist Max Epstein (of Photographic Memory and Militarie Gun), guitarists Nick Quan (better known as quannnic) and Sonny Foster (of Versera, also on vocals), bassist Nolan Nules, producer and vocalist Darcy Baylis, and drummer Zach Capitti Fenton (of Momma and Cryogeyser). They released their first EP, "Dagger Breaks Window", in May of 2026.
