Broadcast was a British ambient pop band formed in 1995 in Birmingham, England. The band's style explored 1960s influences like psychedelic pop and early electronic music through indie neo-psychedelia, heavily influenced by both the 1960s American psychedelic group The United States of America and the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, using many of the same electronic effects and atmospheres.
