The R&B Club is for everyone. But this next event is especially for those of us who lived and partied to one of the chief architects of the genre’s sound in the mid-to-late 2000s. And for those of us who remember how vital the perfect ringtone was. We’re talking Tallahassee’s own, none other than T-Pain. “Buy U A Drink.” “Bartender.” “I’m In Luv (Wit A Stripper).” The hits speak for themselves, and we’re looking forward to the luxury of sitting in a specific pocket of time we don’t always get to pull off at our events. Consider this a day party mixed with the patented R&B Club discussion you’ve come to expect over the last eight years. But we’ll also talk about Pain’s brilliant use of autotune and all the conversation it created in the moment and the decades since. We’re not encouraging anyone to drink. T-Pain’s got that covered. Summer 2026 is about finding joy in various forms and outlets by any means necessary. Let this be one of them. Join us June 14 from noon–2pm at Songbyrd in Union Market (540 Penn St. NE).
