Friday September 25 Spoonfed (Single Release Show) w/ The Montaines, Aidan Leclaire \*\*\* Spoonfed is a Washington, D.C.-based rock band consisting of Will Sevy (vocals/guitar), Kevin Cox (bass), and Kieran O'Dell (vocals/drums). Formed in 2021 in the basement of their house in Charlottesville, Virginia, Spoonfed has grown from late-night jam sessions into one of the DMV's emerging indie bands. Spoonfed draws inspiration from the grunge rock of the 1990s, the alt-rock of the early 2000s, and the grooves of modern funk. Expect energy: dark and uplifting melodies, dynamic rhythms, moody lyrics, guitar solos. Their debut EP drops September 16. \*\*\* Described as delivering “sticky guitar riffs and romantic songs that sound like they belong on a 2014 Tumblr playlist,” the band’s live show is nothing short of exhilarating.
