Pre-purchase your copy of his new album Blush Red due out on 7/10 and enjoy this exclusive performance and signing! \*\*\* Kevin Atwater is a Chicago-born singer-songwriter based in New York City. In 2021, Kevin Atwater started writing songs in his Upper West Side apartment as a creative outlet. He began posting acoustic performances of his songs online and quickly built a dedicated fanbase drawn to his uniquely honest and intimate songwriting about his queer experience, while gaining the attention and support of notable artists like Noah Kahan, MUNA, and Lizzy McAlpine. Kevin released his debut EP Downers Grove on April 26, 2023, led by his breakthrough single “star tripping”. His follow-up single “why did you invite me to your wedding?” gained significant demand from his audience on social media and received praise from SZA, Emma Roberts, Kristen Chenoweth, and many more. He eventually starred in a short film inspired by the song, which was directed by Gus Black (Phoebe Bridgers, Sombr), and premiered at the Angelika Theater in NYC. In 2025, Kevin released his debut album Achilles, and sold out his debut North American headline tour. The album was praised by Ones To Watch as “a uniform, engaging project not built for passive consumption.” Euphoria complimented his “uniquely honest and intimate songwriting” He was also named one of SiriusXM Coffehouse’s Artists To Watch. 2026 is poised to be a breakout year for Kevin as he gears up for the release of his second full-length project, Blush Red, coming on July 10. He introduced a new visual world, accompanying each single with a short-short film that he stars in to tell a story inspired by each song. The Blush Red Tour will hit North America and Europe/UK this Fall, and will be making his festival debut at Austin City Limits and All Things Go.
