Three Dog Night is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed by three vocalists, Chuck Negron (died 2026), Cory Wells (died 2015), and Danny Hutton - soon augmented by Jimmy Greenspoon (keyboards), Michael Allsup (guitar), Joe Schermie (bass guitar), and Floyd Sneed (drums). The band is best known for their music from 1968 to 1975, during which time they achieved twenty-one consecutive Billboard Top 40 Hits and 12 consecutive Gold Albums.
