Baltimore-based quartet Natural Velvet started as an experimental project, founded by current guitarist Spike Arreaga in the summer of 2012. Joined by guitarist Kim Te, vocalist/bassist Corynne Ostermann, and drummer Adam Jones, the band set forth into the Baltimore punk and noise rock scenes, finding footing respectively with a loud, guitar-centric sound, weighted by a strict and solid rhythm section, centering the often jarring and asymmetric guitars.
