Laila Smith (born April 19, 2006), professionally known as Laila!, is a recording artist, songwriter, producer, and audio engineer from Brooklyn, New York City. She also is the daughter of Yasiin Bey, formerly known as Mos Def. Laila! began her music career in 2023, releasing self-produced instrumentals and DJ mixes of classic R&B songs.
