La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros was a band formed in 1976, in Buenos Aires, Argentina by Charly García after the dissolution of Sui Generis. It was a project which left the folk genre of Sui Generis and moved into symphonic rock territory. In the short life of this band, two LP's were recorded: "La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros" (1976) and "Películas" (1977). «In this band I did what I liked», remembers Charly.
