Hamilton Leithauser is lead singer and guitarist for the New York indie rock band The Walkmen. Hamilton Leithauser began his solo career in December 2013, when his band, The Walkmen announced they were going on ''extreme hiatus''. They reunited for a reunion tour in 2023 but remain on "hiatus". Hamilton has released 5 solo albums including This Side of the Island in March of 2025 .
