There are more bands with the name Betrayal: 1) Betrayal were a straight edge metalcore band from Woodland Hills, California formerly signed to Mediaskare Records. The bands sound was a blend of hardcore and metalcore reminiscent of bands like Recon, The Acacia Strain, and thick as blood. Their debut EP was release don October 21st, 2008 with their last album, Abandonment, released onApril 26th, 2011. The band would eventually rename themselves to Runaway Kids
