His works include the Top 10 single "Lonely Boy" (1976), as well as "Thank You for Being a Friend" (1978), "Never Let Her Slip Away" (1978), "Right Between The Eyes" (1986), Bridge To Your Heart (1987) and "Spooky Scary Skeletons" (1996) Gold was a multi-instrumentalist who played guitar, bass, keyboards, accordion, synthesizer, harmonica
